duckweed
Trying to find the age and history of 3 buildings within Broomhall Street. There is the building at the corner of Upper Hanover Street and Broomhall Street (across from St Silas Church) which was Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company in the 1950s. Broom Lodge now called Broompark House once residence of James Dixon, earliest date I have is 1822 as Dixon's residence. Was there an earlier resident or is that when it was built? 3rd building now connected to Broompark House is corner of Broomhall Street and William Street. There is a suggestion of a Twine manufacturer but I don't have a date of when it was built or confirmation that that is what it was built for. Estate agents says Victorian Building but nothing more.
