Three Tuns Silver Street

I was taking photos the other day and saw on the wall it says in business since 1700. The listed status says it is Victorian yet I note there was a publican there in 1830 which makes it Georgian at the very least. Unless it was knocked down and rebuilt after 1837. Any ideas to its real age. Also why is it built so thin? What buildings were there before?

1828-9 James Staniforth, Silver Street Head

.. and then

1822 James Staniforth, 7 Silver Street Head

then, more interestingly

1821 James Staniforth, Three Tuns, Paradise Square

no sign of it in 1818-20, unless you can find differently ...

Found an earlier reference John Hide in 1797. So unless they rebuilt the pub that puts it very firmly in Georgian but still a long way from 1700.
