Hello Everybody

As a first timer to this site.warm greeting to all. my querry is just come into information

on my rose smith.turns out married a frederick w alletson born in sheffield 1895.rose and fred married in selby.but moved to sheffield had a child called dorothy.sadly killed in a bike accident with a train.

dorothy was only four. date of death sept quart.1931.

says burried in sheffield but where?

if any-one knows any-thing on this family would be pleased.

frederick w alletson was a civil servant.

after dorothys death assumed moved to leeds.

as that is were both are buried if can find where in leeds

It's very hard to track down burial places. The best advice anyone can give you is to look at the place where the person who died was living last. Then look at the records of the nearest burial place in the hope that they chose somewhere local to visit.

Sheffield Indexers has a list of burials, but having just searched for Dorothy Alletson and just Alletson itself myself both returned no results.
