dunsbyowl1867 Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 The ten acre site at High Bridge, along side the River Don was aquired in late April at an intial price of £5,000 plus costs, but it had the disadvantage of being along way from the city centre, poorly served by public transport, and requiring a lot of urgent and costly work to convert it into a football stadium!
