bczel01
I posted before about this, but wondered if anyone may have any info from the local media at the time regarding this. I have a small passage from the Manchester Gazette. It is an incident where 20 year old James Wilmot White, drowned while attempting to save the life of 9 year old Albert Knapton at Oxspring's Dam. An inquest was held on 5th August 1904 (something I want to find more information about). James Wilmot White was my great grandfather's brother.
