Red Lion Pub Off The A629

I know this is not strictly Sheffield but it's not far away.

Around twelve years ago I drove from Sheffield to Rochdale.I set off to go via Holmfirth but as it had snowed I decided to divert off the A629 and join the M1.I don't know where I turned off but I went past a Red Lion pub on a hill. The pub was closed at the time but a week later I tried to find it again with no luck.I have been since on a few occasions to no avail. It is not the one at Jackson Bridge or Silkstone or Thorpe Hesley.I can't find anything on Google Maps so would be ecstatic if after all these years someone knows where it is-or was.

What about this one, not exactly on route but you don't say which part of Sheffield you were coming from, this one is near grenoside.

Chalky, it's much further out.Somewhere Langsett,Penistone,Stocksbridge by-pass way.

No one has heard of it. If I'd been alone I would have thought I'd imagined it but the wife was with me.
