R. graded nearly very fine with 6 copied pages of service record John Charles Sorby born Attercliffe, Sheffield, enlisted 22/8/14 in Pontefract, joined 6th Bn York & Lancs, arrived MEF 2/7/15, promoted A.Cpl in the field 13/8/15 in Galiopli, wounded and missing 21/8/15 Battle of Ismail Oglu Tepe, invalided to UK on H.S.
