HughW
Trees on Ancestry do show him as dieing in 1910. This article, I fear, suggests he was a bit of a cad: Liverpool Mercury 17 Dec 1896 EDIT : The adjourned hearing awarded 'Mrs' Saunders a weekly allowance of £2. Over the next three years Richard Preston Saunders was imprisoned three times for non-payment. In 1900 he applied for a reduction in the allowance but this was refused.
