saw119
Thought I was going mad and just made this pub up but it did exist didn't it? Does anyone have a picture of the Pub or its sign?
RichardB
Peter Sutcliffe had been hanging around the Sheffield red light district for four days and he was already familiar with the area. He had been reported to the police on a number of occasions in those four days. He came into the Little Mesters pub in Broomhall a few times and the landlady said he was weird. http://yorkshireripper.com/arrest.htm Thought I was going mad and just made this pub up but it did exist didn't it? saw119
Think you're right Vox. Didn't the Buffer Girls used to be near there too? Still looking for a picture of the sign though.

If by that you mean The Jolly Buffer, yes, it was at the bottom of William Street. Became the Classic Rock Bar for a while before finally being demolished :(
Oldbloke
Bands used to play The Buffer, The Mesters and the Domino, sometimes in very close succession, we spent quite a lot of nights there.
