RichardB
Great news, the longer-term members, i.e. me remember when the limit was 8Mb way back when - hope you enjoyed it. DaveH
Great news, the longer-term members, i.e. me remember when the limit was 8Mb way back when - hope you enjoyed it. I thought our previous file size limit on the site was a maximum single file of 2Mb. What is the maximum file size now? Will it support the direct posting of short video files? If so in what format? RichardB
8Mb, like it used to be. No idea about the rest. DaveH
8Mb, like it used to be. No idea about the rest. Sure it was only 2Mb Richard. If you upload a picture it stated maximum size per image was 2Mb. I once had some images that were just a bit over 2Mb by only a few Kb and it wouldn't accept them. I also couldn't post a .pdf document that was bigger than 2Mb either.
RichardB
When I said "like it used to be", I meant originally, two or three upgrades ago, early 2007. Sure it was only 2Mb Richard. So, We had an 8Mb limit which was cut and devalued down to 2Mb, a bit like my wages But now we have a new higher limit again, which will no doubt help us with those larger files and pdf's. RichardB
I'd welcome a higher limt - perhaps for selected individuals ... like me ! DaveH
I'd welcome a higher limt - perhaps for selected individuals ... like me ! OK Forget wanting a copy of the site on DVD Forget having the site on a DVD boxed set With all those big files you will need your own multi-Terrabyte hard drives to archive the site before much longer. RichardB
Nothing unusual about 10-50Mb PDf's ... I've a couple of 1Tb drives but access to lots more space at work. Liam (incidently from Walkley) has 25 x 2Tb drives, 15 x 1Tb drives (for laser survey data) - I just nick 'em off him.
