A relative of mine was married in this church in 1902. Does it still exist?

It was still there in 1968 when I worked nearby, a great black barn of a church. The site is now occupied by PTS Plumbers Merchants as part of an industrial/commercial estate. I used to fetch the Friday fish & chips from a chippie at the end of Carbrook Street opposite and look across at the church while I waited. I remember thinking that it was the muckiest building in Sheffield.

According to a post on another well known forum the last wedding took place in JUNE 1967

St. Bartholomew's (Henry Wilson Memorial Church)1884

I'm not sure about the tower in the view of St. Bartholomew's,

did the church have a tower ?

This explains, it is an architects impression picturesheffield

the church was not built until 1890, minus a tower.
