RichardB
We have a lot of resource on here, I'd like to propose a Top 20 of books, as distinct to the bibliography ... I'll start off with the trinity : Hunters Hallamshire Gattys Hallamshire Gattys Sheffield Past and Present Hopefully we can generate a belting list and then an Index ... Waltheof, Hollands Statistics, Drake's Road Book, Worthies, Rocks Architectural Views,Cook Book, Scrapbook (qualifies just as a book - maybe) - all views appreciated to get the best list. RichardB
Reminiscences of old Sheffield - Robert Leader A perfect choice - I paid for my copy - then found it was available free ... which version ??? there is also Sheffield in the 18th Century which is a version of the more chatty-version. This is a good reason to bring this topic up.
