The outer rim is inscibed "HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES . KC . K.T" Legend ot base " HADFIELDS MANGANESE STEEL SHEFFIELD ' ' ' MAY 29th 1923. The prince of Wales was to become Edward the Eigth.
