Does anyone know when anything similar will be running or could something be organised? I need as much information as possible. Thank you so much. According to the Friends of Wardsend website there is a formal tour on Sat 9th July 2011 http://www.friendsofwardsendcemetery.btck.co.uk/News Friends Of Wardsend Cemetery Tour Visit this Unique and Historic Cemetery Saturday 9th July 2011 Start 10.30am – Finish 12.00 Meet at Livesey St / Club Mill Road (Coopers scrap yard) by steps behind Bassetts and Hillsborough college. Drivers should park before the bridge The cemetery has undergone a major clearance thanks to the local council and many areas are now accessible, although the walk will stay on the main paths, the views of the cemetery are now open.
