Guest bro
Hi does anyone have any information about Tinsley Park collieires around the end of the nineteenth century.I believe the first shaft was sunk c1850.Does anyone know what seams were worked and at what depth.I have been looking at an old ordnance survey map of the collieires and there appear to be 3 or 4 pits.If only one shaft was sunk before the end of the nineteenth century were these other pits drift mines or similiar? Thanks bro
