dunsbyowl1867 Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Reported in Sheffield Independent 27 November 1869 The first teams of the Broomhall and Wednesday clubs played a game of football on Saturday afternoon, on the Wednesday ground, Highfield.
