Moseleys Arms

Built in the early years of the 19th century, and originally called the Rose. It became known as Moseley's because of the locals refered to it as such. Moseley was an early landlord.

It was known locally as Eli's, cos that's what the landlord was called.

I can't say I recall an outside, roof-top, alfresco toilet, but I hope its true

I just remember walking what seemed forever to get to the outside loo at the Shakespeare along West Bar

Yes the gents were outside. when Eli left the pub it underwent a revamp and a lad called Neville took over. I think Nev ended up at the Hare and Hounds in Dore.
