Sheffield History
It's in conjunction with ITV's forthcoming Grease Is The Word "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria" ripoff. Quote: "Yes, we’re looking for passionate people to come and take part in our sing-along shows." Tickets are free (and you can request as many as you want – within reason!), but there’s just one catch: you have to be ready to sing like Sandy and dance like Danny. There will be awards for the best costumes on the night, competitions to win tickets to the West End show, and maybe even the odd freebie. If this tickles you fancy, don’t delay! From what I can gather they will be showing the movie and you can sing along. Actually these can be quite entertaining nights with the right movie and the right amount of beer. RichardB
No amount of beer would get me up there ... sing like Peter Lorre, look like Fatty Arbuckle, dance like Anne Widdicombe

Guest plain talker
Me three. I can't sing for toffee. I couldn't carry a tune if it were handed to me in a paper bag...
