Sheffield History
A little piece of Sheffield that looks like it would have done years ago is Broad Street (running down to the Park Square Roundabout) Here's a picture featuring Glossops Trophies, Magick shop and Ye Olde Harrow pub I would imagine that these buildings are extremely old and it's a matter of time before they are smashed down and replaced with other buildings.. RichardB
Looks to me something has already gone missing, look above the Urban Clearway sign, there's a dirty great big black area where something once stood. Either that is the single storey building shrank in the wash.
GrinderBloke
Yikes that's my old stomping ground (well S2), the only place I recognise is Ye Olde Harrow. Anyone got access to Kellys Directories for Sheffield say 1960ish. Would love to see some street listings. I don't recall the single story building shown in the picture. Grrr wish I had taken 1000s more general interest photos during my life in Sheffield.

Guest Rachy
What I heard was that the Harrow and the Durham Ox were both going to reopen as student pubs because of the flats that are going up so half expect to see work being carried out on their soon, maybe sarni shops etc.
