neddy Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 With all these Stations coming up, would anyone be able to identify a Station lampost or what line used it, I have one that is reputed to have come from Neepsend Station, cast iron and around 82 ins tall, no top to it just the post. neddy Posted March 20, 2009 Author Share Posted March 20, 2009 Post a picture Are there any distinctive markings The is a picturesheffield link to Neepsend station I can tell from your photo it's not the same , mines a lot fancier criss cross pattern at the middle and a wrythen top half it has a lozenge registration mark for around late 1870's, I'll drag it out over the weekend and post a pic.
