In these days of crumbling, global banking systems, consider the following as an approach.

The only proper principle on which any Bank can conduct the procedings is a very simple one, and common to every trade.

It is to do as much safe and profitable business as its resources will allow, and no more.

All that is has immediately to look to when any transaction is offered to it, are the considerations whether the transaction will be safe and profitable, and whether the funds of the establishment are adequate to it.

"Born at 2 Charlotte Street, Sheffield, on the 2nd of January, 1839

He went to live in London in 1893 , and died at his residence, North Mount, Whetstone a London suburb, on the 18th of April, 1922, aged 83"
