tozzin
11 hours ago, Sheffield History said: I’ve written articles in the Star with a mention of New Church Street in them, the Town Hall now sits on New Church Street, the building at the very end of the street is now a bank on Pinstone Street. There were three pubs on this short street, there are three arches at the rear of the Town Hall which sit over the original New Church Street, the New Church was St Paul’s, where St Paul’s gardens or The Peace Gardens now are.
