Where was this place ? an address please ... What year might we be looking at, I'm quite "the man" for old Sheffield pubs, but you've lost me with this one .... could be out of my distance range, could be out of my date range ... please let me know, I'll do my best ... Was it in Foxglove Or Primrose or Wincobank lane? It was fairly modern. I used to walk past it every schoolday - it had a fine pub sign - a painting of a Roman soldier.
