Building on Carter Hall Lane

Just wondering if anyone knows what this building is / was (building on left in bottom pic)

it doesnt look lived in, but the grounds around it are well kept. It looks like it may be in the garden of another house. Its certainly looked after

This was part of Carter Hall Lane Farm.  Following the death of Mr Staniforth the farm was sold in 1856. In 1863 the farm was occupied by the family of William Collis who had recently died, and was up for auction, though may not have sold. James White put up for sale all the contents of his house in 1871. In 1879 the morgagees of Carter Hall Lane Farm auctioned the whole farm, and a Mr Jenkin of Hackenthorpe bought it for letting out.
