Enquires cannot be answered by Local Studies Staff by phone call, letter or email. Extract from Registers less than 10 years old may only be recorded by handwritten notes. Photocopying or electronic recording are not permitted by law. Registers are available from 1945 onwards as bound volumes. As a preservation measure photocopying from older bound volumes is not allowed. Copies are available from microfilm version up to 1939/40 edition. It is strongly advisable to book a microfilm reader in advance of your visit. Once in the Library you can help yourself to the microfilms. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
