Joseph Lindley & Rosanna Trott were married April 1901 at St Thomas, Crookes. Records state she was a 'Baker & Confectioner'. I can see Bromley St doesn't exist any more ... does anyone have any info please? I imagine it was a corner shop if it was No. 1? Thanks! I had no idea they owned a shop at Upperthorpe Road from 1940. Rose & Hilda lived in 921 Chesterfield Rd, so maybe they owned the shop but didn't work there in the '60s.
