togger
Good evening all, Please read the attached newspaper clip. Assuming Mary got out of the Royal hospital and managed to get to the hearing on the Thursday there would have been a verdict on James (My GG Grandfather).I have looked in the newspaper archives and there is no report on the verdict that I can find. Is there anywhere else I could look please? I would love to know if he got a stink in prison, he deserved it.
Edmund
I can't find the case reported for a Wednesday hearing in either of the newspapers. Possibly Mary decided that a fine or worse, on top of the head injury, was not in the best interests of the household, and declined to appear as a witness. togger
Yes I have all the info on Mary's death although the inquest was destroyed. It was if we could find a verdict. Many thanks
