MartinR
I've just overheard my wife giving an online lesson to secondary pupils in Bromley, Kent. The subject included the Hugenots, many of whom settled in Sheffield and were associated with the early days of cutlery production. She then had to explain that once upon a time Sheffield was the centre of steel making and world renowned for the quality of its products, apparently the girls were totally unaware of Sheffield Steel. 😧
HOMBRE
This is not about the Sheffield steel, but your Title, So sad, set me thinking how sad it was to see Sheffield change so much with the people in the town hall at the time, destroying fantastic buildings and replacing them with utter rubbish. I believe they did regret it when it was too late. Sheffield was a great city, hence, your title "So Sad".
