jaybird Posted May 12, 2020 Author Share Posted May 12, 2020 Harry Parker was born Edwin Road Heeley 1904 His mother was Harriet Parker nee Tyzack, father Percy Arnold Parker Harry married Charlotte Shillito We would like to know more about his army service, he was a regular soldier he was demobbed after war. Edmund Posted May 12, 2020 Share Posted May 12, 2020 Last year I obtained the service records for my mother's cousin who was killed in October 1944 in the Netherlands. It cost £30 and took 3 months. Below is detail from the accompanying cover letter, so you can contact them if you wish to go down that route. I'd suggest an initial email to them to find out their requirements.
