I agree, Austin Reed is/was just below Chapel Walk, although that part of the photo' seems a bit distorted you can see the K on the end of the Chapel Walk road sign. paulhib48 Posted February 20, 2018 Share Posted February 20, 2018 The illuminations were great right up until the time they changed all the roads and you couldn’t drive round town and appreciate them. Driving up the Moor from the roundabout they looked spectacular. Later on when it was all pedestrianised, that’d be in the 80s, I’d take my kids every year for a walk round town on Sundays to see the lights and look in the shop windows.
