boginspro
You left a clue on the flags, Royal Bank of Scotland, Church Street. I had an account there when it was William Deacon's Bank about fifty years ago. I am not sure when it was taken over. EDIT I looked it up and apparently it was the Rotherham Joint Stock Banking Company before Deacons.
Wildchild4
I recognised this building straight away as my great grandfather William Wild was the Bank Manager of the Sheffield and Rotherham Stock Banking Co from 1861 until 1890.
Lemmy117
For those who haven't visited it recently, it's now a TESCO!
