History dude
They moved the shop to Shalesmoor, I don't know if it is still there.
Lemmy117
The shop on Shalesmoor closed a few years ago. I seem to remember there was a shop that sold aeromodelling stuff at the bottom of Cemetery Road, just round the corner from the roundabout and near the bus stop, that was in the early '60's. lysander
I am not sure that the Hobbies shop at Shalesmoor was a part of the national Hobbies chain of shops...whose catalogue had me drooling for years, around Christmas time. Sat on the settee hinting how a super fret saw set would be wonderful...Alas, my Santa never could find anything other than the green painted very basic model.
