RichardB
Took it while I was out this morning, near Herries Road Here's another angle, Some part of the workhouse ? Number 2, Herries Road, as seen on very many Death Certificates.
RichardB
If it is part of the workhouse then there should be a blocked up doorway, somewhere nearby in the perimeter wall .... If it isn't, then there probably won't be ...
neddy
It's on the end of a building which as far as I know is Norwood Grange, It amazes me how the horns on the deer have survived.

neddy
Is that just above the Northern General Hospital Buildings on corner of Herries Road? It's on Longley Lane near the shops on the corner of Herries Road, you have to go down Norwood Grange Drive to see the gable, There's the deers head and a couple of rams heads on the corners, a hidden jewel.
