Sheffield and Rotherham Red Book and Almanac 1904 The Classic Red Book wihich lists all the official organisations and Councils of Sheffield, and Rotherham for that year. Includes masses of information - everything from Accountants to the YMCA, and hundreds more besides. Charities, societies, council departments, institutions & the like. A mine of information. 320 pages + 38 pages of adverts at the back - all complete - with covers. The front coner and thefirst couple of pages have come away, and the first 8-10 pages have edge damage, otherwise a nice clean copy. page or half-page Adverts in this edition include Thos W Ward Wheatley's Hop Bitters hattersley & Davidson Scottish widows Pawson & Brailsford Lyceum theatre (with seating plan) Theatre Royal (ditto) Stewart & Stewart tailors Cowan & son eyesight & spectacle specialists Greaves, Barber & hastings, auctioneers & valuers and dozens more. This is one of half a dozen I shall be putting on ebay over the next few weeks, so keep watching !
