It opened in the Wicker in the late 1880's and in 1913 moved to a site at the corner of Nursery Street and Johnson Street. It closed at this location in 1931. The buildings later became George Lawrence's Laurel Razor Blade works. Wasn't this Hospital or probably more like a Hospic, called Saint Leonard's and run by a religious order? It disappeared a long time ago, possibly as far back as HenryVIII time. when he suppressed the Monasteries. Does anybody know exactly where it was located?
