Someone would have to get real close, or to check any nearby buildings to get a hint on the current street numbering - see if that helps. Possibilities include : Labour in Vain - 62 Princess Street Railway Tavern - 64 Princess Street Roller's Tavern - 70 Princess Street Windsor Castle - 129 Princess Street OR Atlas - Saville Street East Midland Railway Inn/New Inn - 119 Saville Street Prince of Wales - 82 Saville Street East Twelve O'Clock - Saville Street Any thoughts ? Ken Slack had it in the 80s but it was just known as 'Slacky's' and I can't remember what the official name used to be. Is it not named on the 1958 map ? Edit: - Norfolk Arms sounds right to me. Don't know what it is now Its NORFOLK ARMS ,208 Saville Street East. My grandparents ran it for many years and my birthplace. Its also a listed building as before it was a pub it was an Engine House. It usually indicates it was photographed for a reason to accompany an article or may be just the photo and a caption. Would be interesting to see why they were taking an interest.
