Edward Pryor....

Don't know if the company still exists, but this is a good example of Sheffield skill. This is the larger of the two discs I have, the other is less than half the size, but being so small I can't find it! Each letter is pin sharp.

Sorry the pics are a bit ropey, but I don't have a close up lens.

Hi Tsavo, Yes Edward Pryor still exist at Egerton St. Sheffield (they have a website).

I remember using them back in the 1970's. I think they were the only company who provided such a wide a variety of marking services.

Cheers, John

Yes Edward Pryors still exists, my daughter has worked there for over 25 yrs.

She's very happy there in the family run company. I am wearing one of those

gold discs smaller than a one pence piece. It has a cross on the front and the lord's

prayer on the back only visable with a magnifying glass. lol

Some years ago Edward Pryors put the Lords Prayer on a pin head, wow.

It was something the Yanks couldn't do although they have now achieved it.

The Company is still up and running and lets hope it carries on for many more years.

It was my daughters first job there and with any luck she will retire there.

There's not many family run companies anymore , they all seem to have been took

over by the giants more often American.

Here's my little gold medalion made by Pryors.
