John Agnew - circa 1955

I received a mail from Belgian TV about the above player. He is supposed to have played for SWFC in the mid 50's although the club can find no record. The usual reference books also draw a blank. However a website does mention that a John Agnew did play for SWFC before joining Darlington (24apps 2 goals) and then Corby Town.

Does anyone remember him - he was from Eaglescliff originally and his full name was John Terence Agnew b 1935.

His son Alex Agnew is one of Belgium's best known stand-up comedians!
