A representation lias been made to Government of an attempt to excite alarming disturbances in the immediate vicinity of Sheffield. Agents from the Luddites are said to have recently made their appearance is that neighbourhood for tha purpose of instigating nocturnal meetings, drillings and other seditious proceedings .
