Hi Busman I can remember some tours which STD ran in the summer such as "The Strines Tour" , "The City Tour" and one into Derbyshire all which I did this was in the mid 60s and they ran out of Townhead Street Garage and departed from the bottom platform of Pond Street bus station opposite where the SUT office was.

I have no date for these tickets:

STD & JOC ticket

Clearly these tours continued for some time into the PTE era, as I have several with different fares. The highest fare ticket I have is this one, with an amended fare.

The Sheffield Circle Tour, again from the PTE era and with an amended price.

Other tours were advertised by the PTE. I assume these were carried on from tours operated by Sheffield Transport.

Remember the years of rampant inflation!
