Guest plain talker

the Manchester Arms, on Nursery St, which is just round the corner from where the Harlequin was, has recently been renamed "The Harlequin". (Just to confuse the issue, lol )

To contribute to the confusion, there used to be a pub called the Harlequin and Clown (late 1840's) at 22 Nursery Street, run by one Jno. Oglesby

When did this place get knocked down? I seem to remember it still been up around 2002/2003

Great music pub, bands upstairs sessions downstairs with the 'great' Linda Greatorex in charge. Proper pub with little rooms leading off the main one. Sadly missed...
