Bayleaf
Dean's List of post-1945 is quite sobering, but doesn't include the wounded from these conflicts. The annual Poppy Appeal currently provides around 50% of the funding needed every year to provide the services to ex-service personnel. With the on-going conflicts, and the WW2 veterans needing more support in their advancing years, the demands on the RBL are increasing. The Royal British Legion has started a new fundraising campaign called the Poppy Taskforce. The idea of the taskforce is to ask people to commit to a regular giving via direct debit. The Legion is asking for just £3 per month, (roughly 75p per week, though more would be welcome if you can!) If you think you could help in this way, you can donate online, or download a direct debit form from their website at http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/support-us/how-to-give
