Stonehenge in Google Streetview

Not Sheffield, but should be interesting to historians. Google took their streetview trike around stonehenge:

Overview:

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=51....mp;t=h&z=19

(drag the orange coloured man icon seen at the top left hand corner of the satellite view; a blue track will appear; drop the man on that track to start exploring)

Or start exploring from right in the middle of it all:

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=51....2,165.14,,0,7.3

Move the streetview images around by clicking and dragging with your mouse; where you see arrows, click the arrows to move to another view point.

Thanks Jeremy, that's really impressive. A couple of years ago I was due to go on a visit with the Hunter AS and they'd arranged to be in the centre of the stones at sunrise. Unfortunately due to a family illness I had to drop out. But at least I can see what it's like to stand there now!
