docmel Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 On my stag night (1980) we did the West Street pub crawl and ended up in the Red Lion - but thats all I know - cannot remember a bloody thing after that - cud have ended up p*ssing in the ladies for all I know!! mickjj Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 A lad I went to school with (Ian Hayes) parents had the Red Lion so used to be there quite often after school and weekends. The first microwave oven I ever saw was in the kitchen. The Hayes's went from there to "Fox House" on the way to Hathersage. Ian followed in his parents footsteps and now has "The Plough" at Carver.
