vox
Sheffield Telegram Boys during the Blitz This was amongst a pile of old newspaper clippings that my dad kept. I think Gordon Greaves was a family friend. If it's the same person, he later went on to hold quite a high position at the GPO I've added these names as text to help with anyone searching for info on them. Gordon Walker, Albert Bower, Tom Hunter, Des Walsh, Norman Horton and Gordon Greaves.

Guest Snowler
Right on cue - from The Star 27/8/09 http://www.thestar.co.uk/features/39I-brou...ed39.5593020.jp Just found this. My dad was Albert Bower, the telegram boy mentioned in the papaer clipping. He went on to join the Navy and serve in the war. He had a good innings, passing away in 2006.
