Stuart0742
Just looked through Richards photo's from Beamish, good set of photo's couple of observations How do horizontal pillar boxes fastened to walls work work Is this the ghostly image of RichardB
RichardB
First one, it doesn't work well at all. The thing is sealed up anyway, but .... around the corner near the garage is a "proper" old Victorian postbox which I only noticed when we were leaving - shame. Second, that's a ghostly me; got my watch on anyway, I used the shelf to hide my silly hat. I am not a moose, mousse, trifle or quiche BTW ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are loads more pictures of Beamish from a previous visit; is there any interest ? DaveH
Remember Beamish is fairly close to where Richard lives, - its only like us going to Chatsworth or somewhere. Difference is, in the North they are so uncivilised and uncouth, EVIDENCE See Richards picture of a typical street sign, - theres also another one (exhibit 2) about not throwing stones at telegraph poles. Also, the people up there have a strange speech impediment EVIDENCE See the Sheffield Dialect thread on this site.
