1833 Samuel Eyre is printed as being at the Mail Coach.

The dates and names follow on from 1868, it's just the change of pub name and number.

I've wondered about this one because there's nothing on my data saying there was a

Cricketers on Sheldon Street and we have no keepers for that one either.

Having said that I've nothing on a Cricketers on Arley Street either which makes

me wonder if it comes under the one on Bramhall Lane which I think [maybe wrong ]

used to corner Arley Street.

The Pubs list task is like a giant ball of knotted wool; wished I knew how big a ball when I started, I may not have started at all

I've been looking at the picture of the Cricketers Inn on the picturesheffield and there's

a very good one of the Cricketers but if you read it again it says it's the demolition of

the back to back houses that are being demolished around the pub.

I don't think they demolished the pub at the time they demolished the houses.

I have a question on the Horse & Cat High Street.

I have just posted a keeper for 1774 but it has gone under the Bay Childer and others.

I can understand the others of High Street but the Bay Childers was Bridge Street. .

a long distance away??
