Stuart0742
Our local public toilets at Low Edges terminus have been turned into a cafe. Somehow, no matter how inviting the aroma of the bacon is I just can`t bring myself to go in. W/E. This is the Google view of the Low Edges toilets. Stuart0742
Closed down gents toilet on the corner of Rutland Rd/Neepsend lane. Google SV. DaveH
I thought it about time this topic got an airing The rear view from Rutland Rd Bridge looks a bit precarious Is this so that the toilets can flush directly out underneath? What exactly is directly underneath these toilets that seem to hang over the edge of a bridge? A river? Then thats the sewage problem solved. DaveH
One for the ladies or should I say 'was for the ladies' Inside the entrance gates of Norfolk Park, Granville Road. O/S map #98 The "one for the gentlemen" was on the opposite side of the entrance gate almost behind the gatehouse lodge just inside the park off Granville Road. {Sure I posted this reply earlier but it seems to have "disappeared" into cyberspace, - must be the gremlins at work again.} There was a time when there were 3 sets of ladies / gents toilets in Norfolk Park The ones on Granville Road referred to above The ones behind the old cafe near the childrens amausements The ones at the bottom of the long avenue which lead out of the park onto Norfolk Park Road. Although I am sure they will have been replaced with more modern conveniences in the new Heritage Park none of these original toilets still exist for that purpose. If I remember correctly, the 'underground' toilets in Fitzalan Square had those large brass locks on the doors.

Waterside Echo
Is he exempt or his he relieved? As relieved could be another meaning of exempt, and if he ever finds a photo of that trolley bus on City Road, he may then well be flushed with success, W/E.
