The year 1985. This very poor photo was taken just before dusk. Dominator 2192 was a regular sight on long distance work before the "Fastlines" took over. W/A.

Where was this shot taken.....was it at a dock? or had something big sailed up the canal??

Sorry Hjdary, it was at Hull docks and The Norstar worked the Rotterdam route. Incidentally, it now sails under the name of Campania on the Naples-Palermo route. W/E.

lollollol No a North Sea Ferry, to many bus stops between here and the Falklands.

Norland, the sister ship to Norstar went to the Falklands. Would we be able to muster up an armada like that again, I think not.

This Leopard [taken at the side of Lake Windermere in 1986] could give the enemy a run for its money anytime.

I prefered the origional sheffield transport batch was it 55 - 59 two of them were destroyed in t he cetnral works fire
