House of Commons ?

No, it's in Sheffield

I thought that was the idea, - its a Sheffield History site so the clocks are all in Sheffield, - well, - except for that first one of skeets which is just outside.

I haven't been down to London or Westminster for a long time now si it isn't the Houses of Parliament.

Oh dear, a week later and still no takers.

Mystery Clock No.6 is difficult due to the fact that there is no clock.

In sadistic mode I am going to keep it open a bit longer as I know it's bugging Stuart :P

Mystery Clock No.7 is much easier, so, with this one I will reveal a bit more of the picture each week until someone gets it.

MYSTERY CLOCK 7, Now even easier.

City Road Cemetery

Correct!, Well done Steve.

Now, we don't know where CLOCK 6 is yet, but we do know why it's a dodgy clock (basically because it's not there)

We do now know where CLOCK 7 is, it's the City Road Cemetry Clock

But why is it dodgy?

Mystery Clock 8

I think Dave's mystery clock 6 is still un-guessed, but it isn't really a clock, just the ghost of a clock.

Try this one

Is it a dodgy clock?

All the clocks in this thread have to be "dodgy" in some way.

No one has yet said why mystery clock No. 7 (City Road Cemetry) was dodgy

..another unanswered question.

Judging from the style of clock and the surrounding apex is it a railway station clock?

If so it is dodgy because it actually tells the right time BUT the trains never run to it! lol

No. it's not now, - but was it when you took it?

Not a railway clock eh,

Should have guessed, - most railway clocks seem to be GENTS of Leicester, with the manufacturers name very prominent on the dial

Is the clock actually working or is it just wrong?

Is this why it is a bit dodgy

Well Dave it obviously don't work,

not unless Stuart happened to take his photo at the exact same time as mine that is.

They seem to be proud of it even though it doesn't work.

There's a floodlight over the top of it.

I think the building is well floodlit

Quite an historical building, had many uses in its long history

Interesting that both Stuarts and Steves photos are not only the same clock, but taken from almost exactly the same viewpoint which is not square on to the clock face.

I wonder if there is a reason for this. <_<

Not convinced we were at the exact same location, I have a feeling we were at different sides of a prominent feature in the area

The angle of the shots, relative to that clock face look very similar.

Unless one of you was in the window of the book repository (library) on De la Plaza and the other was near a bush on the grassy knoll.

That way you couldn't have missed.
